Faith is a choice....and it's a relief to choose it

A few posts ago I wrote that lately I want to know why this had to happen. I pondered and prayed about this. The Holy Ghost gently reminded me, of what I had counseled my husband, at the beginning of Sophia's life. That this was about Sophia needing a body. The Holy Ghost also made known to me, another reason. I felt comforted by this revelation and I chose to have faith...that this must be...and that good will come of our trials. Faith is a choice. And it's a relief when you choose it.

Twice a year the Prophet, Apostles, and other leaders address anyone who watches, listens, or reads general conference. Elder Hales...a member of the quorum of the twelve apostles...passed away last Sunday in between sessions of conference. A few lines from the talk, he was preparing to give, were read: "When we choose to have faith, we are prepared to stand in the presence of God" he had written. Faith is a choice.

Sophia licking some nutella ;-)
