This is a blog about the joys of raising Sophia. It is intended to be REAL, inspiring, and shed light on the experience of having a terminal child. I hope that our experience will help people in one way or another. I could have never imagined having a terminal baby with special needs. The news was devastating. But there is joy in this journey. Please get your flu shot ;-)
Hey everyone! After much deliberation on whether or not the flu shot is a good idea for our family... this year we decided to get it. Her pediatrician and the hospital staff are saying the flu is really bad this year and we really don't want Sophia to get sick :-( Some kids like her have regressed significantly in their development, or some had to be trached, because of catching the flu in the past :-( So we are asking that anybody that plans on getting some snuggles from Sophia in the next 6 months...please get your flu shot :-) Help us do what we can to protect her :-)
